Genesis is an interactive exploration of how images have been employed by science and religion to shape and depict core ideas. While science and religion are often perceived as occupying opposing spheres, Genesis uses images to reveal deep-seated parallels between them. By clicking and dragging the mouse users reveal fragments of religious and scientific images hidden beneath the surface of the screen. These images trace the origins of humanity as established in both the Book of Genesis and conventional scientific texts. By navigating through these parallel image narratives the participant creates a complex collage which in turn becomes an artifact of the interactive process.
