Andrew Lloyd Goodman is an electronic media artist living and working in Providence Rhode Island. Born in 1982 and having spent his formative years in New York, Idaho and Vermont, Goodman has come to identify himself as a New Englander with the adopted hometown of Portland Maine. Goodman received his BA in Studio Art from the University of Southern Maine in 2004 where he received recognition for his digital art practice and received the 2004 Provost Purchase Award.
In 2006 he was accepted into the Masters of Art in Digital Art program at the Maryland Institute College of Art and was subsequently accepted into the Photography and Digital Imaging MFA program in 2007. Upon graduating from the program in 2008, Goodman was awarded the Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship Award which is given to one graduate from each of the nation”s top ten MFA programs.
Since 2008 Goodman has participated in a number of group shows including the juried international new media exhibition, Pixilerations. In addition to his creative works, Goodman is a member of Brown University”s professional staff where he administers the List Visual Art Multimedia Lab and participates in a number of emerging media projects including an Augmented Reality anthology of historic campus architecture.
